Branding a Digital Agency
New Branding for a Modern Digital AgencyAs creative director at Noble Studios, a leading digital agency headquartered in Reno Tahoe, Tim leads Noble's creative services team through ongoing efforts of branding and content creation. Tim develops creative strategies that evolve the brand’s essence while capturing new audiences. This case study showcases a small percentage of many examples of his work produced for Noble.
Building a Sturdy Brand Foundation
Initially, few brand and identity elements existed beyond a black and yellow color palette. A complementary color palette was carefully selected to build upon the base colors, consisting of both warm and cooler tones. New digital-friendly typefaces were also selected.
Hand-Crafted Icon Library Design
Icon families were built from scratch to represent each of the agencies’ unique service offering pillars. Each icon family shares a common shape and color, reflecting the “Think Market Measure” approach.
Goal-Oriented Website Planning & Design
The main three goals of the website included:
- Showcasing and sharing completed projects
- Promoting and integrating thought-leadership articles throughout
- Lead-gen for potential clients and new employee candidates alike
Agency Brand Book
Building upon the brand, Tim fashioned an editorial spread print book that served as an information guide and sales tool for prospective clients. Featured sections included background information about the agency, portfolio showcase, and work method.
Cultural Artifacts Campaign
Cultural artifacts gives information about a business culture. Posters were designed, printed, then placed throughout the office to highlight the agency’s mission, vision, and values. Stickers allow for team members, friends, and fans alike to apply on laptops, water bottles, or anywhere. Coffee mugs, water bottles, USB ports and tee-shirts were also created to support the initiative.
Culture Day One Video
An agency video designed to inform inspire, engergize, and delight new employees. Topics include history of the agency and how to work well as a team.
Photography and video captured and used throughout the website and marketing channels. The editorial-style photography of team members gives a sense of realistic working environments to clients and prospective career applicants alike.
The individual employee portraits are uniform, yet fun in nature, designed to celebrate the unique professional attributes or skillsets of each individual.
